The IM1800 is a powerful and reliable Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) designed for operations in shallow and complex-access waters, such as rivers, canals, ports, and coastal zones. Its hydrodynamic design and four-motor propulsion ensure excellent stability and maneuverability, even in environments with currents or challenging sea states.
This multi-mission USV supports a wide range of hydrographic and environmental sensors, including multibeam and single-beam echosounders, ADCP, side-scan sonar, and physico-chemical probes. Thanks to its integrated winch system, the IM1800 can conduct vertical profiling and water column measurements down to 100 meters, making it ideal for environmental monitoring and water quality analysis.
With a payload capacity of 40 kg and a moonpool of 30×30 cm, it offers flexibility for both temporary and permanent sensor installation. The onboard system is fully autonomous, following pre-programmed mission plans and navigation routes defined on interactive nautical charts.
The IM1800 is also an ultra-connected platform: operators can control and monitor the drone in real time via 4G/5G networks, Wi-Fi, or long-range radio telemetry. Live video streaming and onboard cameras provide constant visual feedback for safe navigation and obstacle avoidance.
Powered by a 4.2 kWh lithium battery, the IM1800 delivers an endurance of over 7 hours at 1.5 m/s. Optional extended battery packs further increase mission duration.
Combining autonomy, precision, and ruggedness, the IM1800 is an affordable, easy-to-deploy solution that enhances safety while ensuring high-quality data in any field condition.
